Local pottery shop identity

I value items whose uniqueness is due to the work of a craftsman's hands. In the era of machine-made products that flood the market in an uncontrolled way, it is a breath of peace and common sense. This project is an expression of neighbourly support for local businesses. Bk's Home from Lelystad creates real ceramic masterpieces. Silvia (founder) made unique pots for my plants, but you can also find ceramic tableware in her shop.

Deliverables consist ofidentity system reflected in the logo and printed materials.

Logo

and process of its creation

From the beginning, Silvia emphasized that the logo should consist only of letters, as it must be easy to pre-transfer to ceramics. Any graphic signs would only hinder her daily work.

An essential element was also to convey the feeling of coziness, lack of haste, and the warmth of a homely atmosphere.

Local community

and sustainable growth

The local community gives a great lesson about sustainable development and responding to recipients' needs. Being close to people makes it easier to notice minor and significant inconveniences and solve them.

By that, local businesses organically contribute to understanding customers' real needs and adapting production, which prevents overproduction and supports sustainable development.
